Sutherland Shire Tiling Warranty is the NSW Fair Trading Recommendation of:
6 Years for Structural Work and 2 Years for Non-Structural Work.

If it is found that the work was not completed as per your scope of works, or is against Australian standard (and we did not receive the clients approval for the alteration to the agreed works) we will repair the area or re-do the work with no service charge. If the area is repaired, or the work is re-done, is at the sole discretion of Sutherland Shire Tiling. No warranty is valid until payment is made in full.

Warranty Exclusions
Shower Screens (unless re-installed by a professional glazier)
Sutherland Shire Tiling takes no responsibility for shower screens at all – all shower screen works are provided free of charge simply as part of your service, all care is taken but no responsibility is taken for shower screens.
Shower screens require experienced installation from a qualified, licensed tradesperson glazier. As Sutherland Shire Tiling tradespeople are tilers and waterproofers, any removal or re-installation of a shower screen comes with no warranty, as it is essentially provided free of charge. You are welcome to use a glazier to remove and re-install your screen at additional expense.

Mould (due to lack of ventilation, natural sunlight, regular cleaning and drying out)
It is the owners responsibility to ensure regular cleaning and treating of mould for tiles, grout and silicone. Sutherland Shire Tiling takes no responsibility for mould that occurs in the area as it has nothing to do with tiles but with maintenance. Nor do we cover any damage caused by a leak.

Movement & Hairline Cracks
Sutherland Shire Tiling takes no responsibility for hairline cracks, leaking showers or separation of tiles or screed caused by movement, width of bedding due to existing floor height, or any factor beyond our control.
Cracking or damage caused by structural movement in the building is not covered under warranty as tradespeople do not have control over structural movement, expansion, and weather.
Due to the nature of shower repairs, tiles are essentially “sealed in” to the shower recess – to allow for movement would allow for water to escape. For this reason, it is not possible to warranty cracking caused by structural movement of your building.
